Frustrated and being OCD

I have been blog searching trying to find out how to embed the buttons for other blogs onto my page.  Not sure if I have figured it out yet.  The videos at Ladybug's Teacher Files are amazing and very helpful.  I just want the blog to be perfect from the beginning and it probably won't be which is frustrating to me.  I have spent the past three days looking at the linky party from 4th Grade Frolics and loving all the interesting and creative classroom creations. It has made me want to join the blogging world in full force. I am not having any luck at linking with the button. UGH!

Hello blog world. I am new to blogging and quite inexperienced but wanting to learn. I am counting on the educational bloggers out there to help me out and share their expertise. All help will be greatly appreciated.
